PARADES:
Everyone loves a parade!
Several of the communities will be hosting events, but only a few will start the day with a parade. Make sure to allow time for parking since it will be limited in all of the locations. Each of the communities has posted their parade route, and as a result, there will be street closures. So check the links and plan your day’s activities accordingly.
MARIETTA
The holiday festivities will be held on July 4 from 10am-9pm, and will start at 10 am with the Marietta Freedom Parade.

CARTERSVILLE
Cartersville will also have a parade as the Rotary Club of Etowah hosts the annual Independence Day Celebration. The parade will begin at 9am at the Tabernacle Baptist parking lot on Douglas Street, and is presented by WBHF 100.3 FM/AM 1450. For parade information call WBHF 770-386-1450.

WOODSTOCK
Woodstock will host their parade at 10am starting at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road, traveling down Main Street and ending at Sam’s Club near Hwy 92.
FIREWORKS:
Here are the Fireworks events scheduled around West Cobb area. As we stated above, parking will be limited and there will be road closures, so please check your calendars and plan accordingly.
ACWORTH
One of the largest fireworks displays in Cobb County is in Acworth on July 4th, with the events leading up to the fireworks at Cauble Park and ending with the fireworks display on Lake Acworth. The event is hosted by the City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association. The day’s celebration features live music starting at 4pm. Food and drinks will be available from vendors starting at noon.

WOODSTOCK
Woodstock will begin their festivities at 10am with the parade. Enjoy a day filled with fun, food, arts & crafts, kids activities and live entertainment at The Park at City Center, 101 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock And there will also be live entertainment at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater Stage. The day’s festivities will end with a fireworks display at dusk (around 9:30pm)
