Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

It’s hard to believe that school will begin again in just a few weeks. And while I am talking about the elementary, middle and high schoolers, in GA it can also mean back to school for those over 50. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Kennesaw State University provides a selection of educational and social opportunities for adults age 50 and older.

According to their website, their purpose is to promote lifelong learning and continued intellectual and personal growth for retirement-age individuals. Georgia residents can choose from a variety of courses in Arts & Music, Finance, Health & Fitness, History, Languages, Leisure, Technology and more.

Courses require a nominal fee and some also include an additional fee for supplies, etc.

The Institute also offers quarterly themed socials, movie nights and the annual Donuts & Notes event in December.
