Santa will arrive in downtown Acworth on Senator Russell Avenue along with lots of activities including Mayor Tommy Allegood reading The Night Before Christmas at the Plaza, the lighting of the tree. Don’t forget to visit Frana Brown Park, where you can peruse the beautiful Festival of Trees!
Enjoy pictures with Mr. Claus, eating candy canes with all his elves, and filling the streets with the holiday spirit. Pictures with Santa are free each year and begin at 6:45 p.m. Please note that there will not be a photographer onsite, so please plan on bringing your camera to capture the special moment.
DATE: Saturday, December 7th at 5:30pm with Santa arriving around 6:30 p.m.

Santa Parade and Day with Santa
Wellstar Health Systems sponsors Kennesaw’s holiday kickoff. Celebrate the season in downtown Kennesaw beginning with a parade down Main Street featuring marching bands, decorated floats, vintage cars, colorfully-costumed characters, and Santa Claus himself. The parade begins at noon near the intersection of Park Drive and Main Street, proceeding south and east down Main Street.
The celebration continues at Depot Park, 2828 Cherokee Street, until 6 pm with A Day with Santa presented by WellStar Health Systems. Activities include a snow playground, inflatables and amusements, kid’s crafts, visits with Santa, stage entertainment, and a holiday market full of gift ideas and unique merchandise. Food vendors will be onsite.
DATE: Saturday, December 1 from 12pm – 6pm
LOCATION: Downtown Kennesaw
Event organizers are seeking vendors, as well as accepting entries for the parade at www.adaywithsanta.com. Entries will be judged and prizes will be awarded in several categories. The best overall float will win a cash prize of $250. Participation is free.
