2019 Holiday Tour of Homes

I just finished the Fall Season magazine and the holiday season around West Cobb begins with holiday tour of home around Metro Atlanta. This is my favorite time of year and it seems to go by the fastest with so many things to do! Some events happen so early, they are almost missed. So this post is to let you know about some of the events coming up and how to make sure not to miss them.

HOLIDAY TOUR OF HOMES AROUND METRO ATLANTA

ACWORTH CHARM

Acworth Charm Historic Home Tour will be held on Saturday, November 16 at 1pm. The self-paced tour will include 7 homes on the Day Tour, and 4 homes plus a 150 year old Church on the Candlelight Tour!

ATLANTA HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

The Atlanta Home for the Holidays Showcase Home has been announced and it is 4825 Woodvale Drive NW, Atlanta GA 30327. Twenty designers will transform the home for the holidays and tours will be scheduled from November 14 – December 8, 2019. Tickets range in price from $25-$175. The event benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

GRANT PARK CANDLELIGHT TOUR OF HOME

The 2017 Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes will be held on December 14 and 15, from 6pm-10pm. Information about advance tickets for the 2019 Candlelight Tour of Homes can be found on their website, as it was unavailable at the time of this posting.

MARIETTA PILGRIMAGE

The Marietta Pilgrimmage will again showcase six private homes in the Whitlock Avenue District that will be decorated for the holiday season. Organized by the Marietta Visitors Bureau and Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society, this year will be its 33rd year. On Friday, December 6th, the event will kick off with a tickets only, black tie gala – “The Marietta Pilgrimage Tour Gala,” offering an evening of dining, music, and dancing at the Whitlock Inn. No tour homes will be open for the gala. The tour of homes will be held on December 7 and 8 and tickets will range from $30-$35.

MILTON TOUR OF HOME

The Milton Tour of Homes will kick off the holiday home tours with this year’s event being held on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Saturday tours will depart at 9:45 am and 1:30pm, and Sunday tours will depart at 10:45am and 2:30pm. Tickets will be $35 each and are limited to 4 tickets per purchase. Tickets will go on sale Monday, September 18th at 9am.

ROSWELL HOLIDAY HOME TOUR

Roswell Women’s Club Holiday Home Tour will be held on November 9 and 10, 2019 at 3 townhomes at Harlow Alpharetta featuring holiday home decor by local interior designers. Tickets are $30 for 1 day and $40 for 2 days. Shuttle information and more details can be found on their website.

VIRGINIA HIGHLANDS TOUR OF HOME

The Virginia Highlands Tour of Homes will also be held December 7 and 8, with tour hours on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-4pm. There will also be food tastings both days from 12pm-4pm. There are 9 homes in this year’s tour including craftsman bungalows, American farmhouse and tudor home as well as other historic homes. Tickets will start at $30.

WOODSTOCK ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOUR OF HOME

The Woodstock Junior Woman’s Club will host it’s Annual Holiday Tour of Homes on November 9 and 10. Check their website for more details as they are updated.
