Brookstone

 Golf & Country Club

Named after the very first golf course in Atlanta, Brookstone Golf and Country Club continued its golf theme with street names inspired by golf courses throughout the United States. Even before the homes, the developers worked with Larry Nelson to design the 7,000 yard 18-hole championship golf course. In 1988, The Brookstone Golf & Country Club opened as a private country club, with a main dining room, lounge, pro shop, locker rooms and meeting rooms. It continues as a private country club today and now includes tennis courts and swimming pools.

Brookstone is comprised of three subdivisions, I, II and III. Land was cleared in 1987 for construction of the first phase of Brookstone I. While the Country Club was the centerpiece of the community, it was the goal of the developers to provide whatever was needed for the comfort and pleasure of the subdivision’s residents. So land was allocated for tennis courts, swimming pool, jogging track, baseball and soccer fields. As the community grew, the developers also used the land they purchased around the intersection of Mars Hill and Stilesboro Roads, to develop into stores and businesses.

Located within walking distance to Publix and Kroger, as well as other local shops, in addition to quick access to The Avenue at West Cobb and shopping on Dallas Highway, as well as Target, Best Buy, Michaels and other shops on Cobb Parkway.

Today, Brookstone Golf & Country Club homes continue to offer its residents the community lifestyle the developers successfully sought to offer. Looking for a home for sale in Brookstone? Search homes for sale below and let us help you find your dream home!
