There is nothing quite so American as a burger. Fast food holds nothing to a real beef burger! And there are several great burger places around West Cobb where you can enjoy a burger, fries, onion rings and more. Listening to neighbors, we have determined that these are the “favorite burgers around West Cobb”. Do you agree? Take our survey at the end of this post and let us know! We’ll share the results.
BurgerFi
Conveniently located in downtown Kennesaw, BurgerFi is a small eclectic restaurant offering counter service as well as an outside rooftop area. Their menu ranges from veggi burgers to beef burgers, as well as hot dogs, sides, desserts and alcoholic beverages. The onion rings are huge! I ordered the small fry order of fries, and it would have been sufficient for a family of 4! Don’t want bread? You can have your burger wrapped in lettuce.

Five Guys
Once you have placed your order, enjoy the roasted peanuts while you wait for it to be ready. Their burgers include a variety of topping choices including peppers, grilled onions and mushrooms. If you want something other than a burger, you can also choose from a variety of hot dogs and specialty sandwiches, including grilled cheese. I am always amazed at the size of their side of order of fries, which I think is enough to feed an entire family (unless you really like a lot of fries)!

Stockyard Burgers
Offering an eclectic menu of burgers from traditional beef burgers to pork, veggie and tuna burgers, with unique names and toppings. I found it very difficult to find a “plain” burger – even the Plain Jane had toppings and sauces. But after checking with the server, I learned that the Plain Jane was indeed their “plain” burger and could be ordered without the fancy toppings. When it arrived, I liked it! And since it was my friend’s birthday, we shared a peach/apple cobbler! Located just off Marietta Square, the building offers an eclectic atmosphere as well. You can enjoy your burger with a variety of beverages including alcoholic beverages such as bourbons, and more.
